The Yarn Story studio
The Yarn Story Studio has an expertise team that has high experience in designing and consulting on fabrics design. The Yarn Story is led by Pichatorn Nualdaisri, who received the Master degree in textile design from Chelsea college of Art and design, University of the Arts London. She has experience in Arts and Design field over 10 years. In 2021, She received “excellence” rank in PhD of Arts and Designs from Silpakorn university with the topic of “developing creative textile from local Thai silk”. She has worked as a textile consultant for many institutions and major fabric industry firms in Thailand. With strong knowledge and connection, the Yarn Studio team has wide range of knowledge to create and serve creative idea to the customers and has a lot of positive feedbacks from their appreciations.
Our Goal
The studio has the main purpose as supporting local materials and weavers. Several valuable local materials and tradition knowhow are left behind in the present day. With the nowadays innovations, design techniques and new founding yarn types, the studio aims to bring them together to create the new textile surface. Furthermore, the yarn from recycle wastes such as plastic are used to adapted for the environment friendly concept. This key concept finally provides new interesting fabric design surface from various types of materials and innovations, and supports local society in the same time.
